Settings
As a Workspace Owner, this guide walks you through the administrative Settings in your Sibe Web Dashboard. You will learn how to invite new engineers to join your team's Workspace and how to create and manage custom tags for organizing your CAD documents and design review comments.
You must be a Workspace Owner to access and modify the settings described in this article.
Inviting New Workspace Members
You can easily add new engineers or managers to your team's Sibe Workspace by sending an email invitation.
- Navigate to Settings in your Web Dashboard.
- Locate the user management section.
- Type in the email address of the user you want to add.

- Click Invite.
- An invitation email will be sent to the user. Once they register their account, they will automatically be added to your team’s member list as a Workspace Member.
Creating and Managing Custom Tags
Custom tags help you categorize your design versions (Versions) and manage feedback within comments. You can create new tags and customize their appearance and purpose.
- Navigate to Settings in your Web Dashboard.
- Locate the section for custom tags.
- Click New Tag in the upper right-hand corner of the tag list.

- Enter a descriptive name for your new tag.
- Select a color for the tag's display.
- Add a short description to clarify its purpose for your team.
- Define the tag's use by selecting whether it will be used for Comments and/or Version tracking (versions let you track changes over time—think of it like saving snapshots of your design at key milestones).

- Click Create Tag.
- Perform a quick refresh of the page to see your new tag appear in the list.
Tips & Troubleshooting
- You can delete any of the default tags provided by Sibe to keep your tag list clean and focused on your team's specific needs.
- The name, color, description, and usage (comments or version) of a custom tag can be changed at any time by editing the tag in the Settings section.
What's Next?
With your team invited and your custom tags defined, you are ready to begin importing your existing SolidWorks files into your new Sibe Workspace.
